Description from the seller
Moldavite formed about 15 million years ago, during the fall of a meteorite in Bohemia, in the present-day Czech Republic. The heat of the impact melted the surrounding soil, projecting droplets of molten glass that solidified into stones as they fell back over several hundred kilometers. It is said that the region's inhabitants gathered it in the fields after plowing, taking it for a lucky-charm stone fallen from the sky, long before science revealed its meteoritic origin.
In lithotherapy, it is considered a stone of transformation, favoring spiritual awakening and deep changes.
