Description from the seller
Château Clerc Milon 5th Grand Cru Classé 1977
In 1970, Baron Philippe de Rothschild acquired Château Clerc Milon, whose condition and management left something to be desired. The renovation of the vineyard by the Mouton Rothschild teams, its restructuring, and various technical improvements, in particular the construction of a new winery, are bearing fruit today. The estate was expanded in 2004, with the acquisition and gradual integration of the La Fleur Milon vineyards.
About the vintage
Having become one of the Médoc's most sought-after wines, Château Clerc Milon has acquired a nobility and richness comparable to that of the finest. The wines currently produced are very structured, with intense red fruit aromas. They are to be enjoyed after 7 to 20 years of aging.
