Lava stone necklace - Christ - Strength of the Soul and Blessing - 14k Gold-Filled clasp - Necklace with pendant

Lava stone necklace adorned with a medal incorporating the face of Christ.
Soul Strength and Blessing

This necklace bears a golden pendant engraved with the Latin inscription « Ecce Homo », a powerful symbol of spiritual dignity, inner strength, and blessing, mounted on a strand of volcanic lava stone beads.

Inspired by the Gospel episode where Christ is presented to the crowd (« Ecce Homo » / « Behold the Man »), this pendant illustrates the peak of moral perseverance. Crowned with thorns, the face of Christ turns in profile with unwavering calm, affirming the superiority of conscience and divine love over the fleeting judgments of the world. This portrait is a hymn to resilience: it recalls that spiritual greatness shines brightest at the heart of adversity.

The warm gold-colored metal pendant is paired with the raw material of black lava stone. Born of the heat of the Earth's magma, this porous rock symbolizes grounding, resilience, and telluric energy. It provides a striking contrast with the radiance of gold, uniting the solidity of the earth with the nobility of divine light.

Worn close to the body, this pendant conveys to its wearer a deep inner calm and moral strength in the face of life's unforeseen events. It encourages patience, preserves the peace of heart amid external turmoil, and guides its wearer with uprightness, dignity, and confidence.

The inscription « Ecce Homo »: The affirmation of human dignity
Uttered by Pontius Pilate during the Passion, the Latin formula Ecce Homo transcends the biblical narrative to become in sacred art the emblem of steadfastness in the storms of life. This motif recalls the ultimate triumph of moral rectitude and the elevation of the soul that preserves its purity despite trials.

The Crown of Thorns and the Serene Profile: The Spiritual Victory
Far from showing defeat, the Christ profile sculpted on the medal reflects total inner mastery. The thorns, symbol of earthly pain, are transfigured into a halo of glory. This powerful symbol strengthens the spirit and reminds us that every challenge faced with honor fortifies inner strength.

The Lava Stone: The Fire of the Earth and Endurance
Formed by the rapid cooling of volcanic magma, lava stone is intimately linked to the element Fire and to Earth. Used in Mediterranean traditions to stabilize emotions and absorb nervous energy, it acts as a sturdy base that roots the wearer's will in reality.

The Contrast of Gold and Black Rock: The Elevation of the Soul
The aesthetic pairing of the matte rock with the golden pendant's solar shine symbolizes the ascent of divine light above raw matter. This composition gives the jewelry a sober, elegant, and utterly spiritual presence.
