Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.
My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was fascinated by colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a personal expression. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work today.
What shaped me most was my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. With him I learned to paint. His sense for colors, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance for my development. As his pupil I was able to benefit from knowledge and a passion that accompany me to this day.
I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting.
Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the structures that emerge, and the surprising shapes that give each painting its own character. In this process the earned craft combines with intuition and the joy of experimentation.
My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and bring long-lasting joy to their viewers. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and over time reveal new facets again and again.
With every canvas I continue to develop my work—carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own.
The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube. An authenticity certificate is included with the delivery.
