Jinks Kunst presents BEN, an original street art work on a school slate, hand-signed, created with spray paint and stencil techniques, 26 cm by 16 cm, dated 2026, in excellent condition, originating from France and depicting Pop Culture, with Original edition and year 2026, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Mixed media: multilayer stencil, glitter, and spray paint on a wooden school slate (18 x 26 cm)
Continuing perfectly in the vein of his practice of reappropriating vintage supports, Jinks Kunst presents BEN, a vibrant, nocturnal counterpart to the BOB piece. The artist reuses here the nostalgic setting of the wooden school slate and its etched grid, placing an urban figure with magnetic presence. Placed in a crouched position—the emblematic stance of skaters and graffiti writers in observation—the BEN character fixes the viewer with a lively and intense gaze. The work stands out with striking chromatic work: a purple-tinged hoodie wrapped in a luminous halo, paired with glitter effects and blue specks that catch the light from every angle.
This cosmic and shiny treatment contrasts with the geometric rigor of the white lines of the schoolboard and the fluorescent green grass that carpets the bottom of the image. Despite the compact format, the precision of the stencil cuts and the finesse of the shadow layering give the character noticeable volume and dynamism. BEN thus has a dialogue between the innocence of school benches and the electricity of nocturnal street culture. An original work, signed by the artist in the lower corner of the raw wooden frame.
The work can be displayed with the piece BOB as a diptych (see my other listings)
Comes with its certificate of authenticity.
