Description from the seller
Tommasini Prestige Over – year 2000 – Campagnolo Chorus – Mavic Cosmic
I’m selling a splendid Tommasini Prestige Over from 2000, an Italian steel racing bike, elegant and of great charm.
The frame is made of Brain steel, one of the tubes used by Tommasini on the Prestige line, valued for the lightness and rigidity characteristics typical of high-performance steels of that era.
The Tommasini brand stems from the craftsmanship of Irio Tommasini, the historic Tuscan frame-builder who began his activity as early as 1948. The artisanal care, the finishes and the attention to frame construction contributed to making Tommasini one of the most appreciated names among Italian handcrafted racing bikes.
The bike is equipped with a Campagnolo Chorus groupset and Mavic Cosmic wheels, a configuration of great prestige and strong racing character.
Specification:
Year: 2000
Model: Tommasini Prestige Over
Frame: Brain steel
Color: blue
Sizes: 50 cm vertical / 52 cm horizontal
Groupset: Campagnolo Chorus
Wheels: Mavic Cosmic
The bike is beautiful and well preserved, with some normal signs of wear and small marks on the paint, absolutely consistent with the bike’s age.
A splendid Italian racing bike, ideal for enthusiasts and collectors seeking an authentic Tommasini, with a steel frame and Campagnolo-level components.
Note: the bike stand visible in the photos is not included in the sale.
