Description from the seller
Dugena Genève Automatica – Vintage Automatic, Late 1970s
Beautiful and increasingly sought-after Dugena Genève Automatica from the second half of the 1970s. The watch is equipped with the Dugena caliber 3360, based on the Swiss ETA 2836.
The ETA 2836 was manufactured starting in 1974; Dugena used it under its own caliber designation 3360.
The watch features a distinctive, period-typical case with a generously large diameter for the era of about 38 mm. Particularly attractive is the dark steel-blue dial in a sunburst finish. Depending on the angle of light, the color changes and creates a beautiful two-tone or shading effect. Applied hour markers, the classic Dugena logo, and the day/date display at 3 o'clock emphasize the characteristic 1970s character.
Inside, the proven Swiss ETA 2836 / Dugena 3360 automatic movement operates with a central second hand as well as day and date display. The movement runs at 28,800 half-strokes per hour (4 Hz) and, depending on the version, has up to 25 jewels as well as about 40 hours of power reserve.
The combination of the angular-sporty case, the exceptional dark steel-blue sunburst dial, and the Swiss automatic movement makes this Dugena a distinctive vintage watch of the 1970s.
