Salvatore Aiello - Dikta(r)t

Dikta(r)t is a kinetic and dualist work that investigates the dynamics of the contemporary art market through a structure of vertical slats. By exploiting the change in perspective, the installation reveals two opposing images: on one side a composition with vivid colors in the style of Keith Haring, evoking creativity and expressive freedom; on the other, the geometric shape of a swastika appears. Born from a reflection inspired by articles by journalists specializing in the rigidities and conditioning of today's art system, the work offers a measured reading of the relationship between free expression and the power dynamics that govern the sector.
