B. Morah's original 2026 acrylic on canvas painting, Bosque Ingrávido 182 XL, a surreal landscape in multicolour with electric blues and vivid greens, 100 x 75 cm, signed by hand with a certificate of authenticity, sold directly by the artist from Spain.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 182 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that Sublimes the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that anchors them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held up by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is no accident: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take weight away from nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberating act that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravid Forest” in itself evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
