Villa San Carlo is a family-run winery located on the hills east of Verona, in the heart of the Valpolicella wine region of Veneto, Italy. It’s known for producing traditional Venetian red wines with a focus on quality, limited production, and sustainable viticulture
Red Wines
Size & Terrain: About 20 hectares of vineyards are farmed on ancient dry-stone terraces with diverse soils (limestone and red “scaglia rossa”), divided into many small plots to express terroir differences.
Varieties: Focus on native Valpolicella grapes — Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, plus smaller amounts of Molinara, Croatina, Teroldego and Cabernet.
Sustainability: The estate follows sustainable practices and has transitioned toward organic farming and certification since 2023
