Road Trip explores the idea of travel as a metaphor for freedom, transgression and discovery. At the center of the composition emerges an old van transformed into a kind of wandering capsule of urban culture: covered in graffiti, marks of passage and stories accumulated along the road. The vehicle represents not only transport — it becomes a symbol of constant movement, of lives in transit and of identities built outside conventional routes.
The arid landscape and cracked ground suggest a post-urban or abandoned territory, where human traces remain only through art and the trash left behind. In contrast, the dramatic and colorful sky creates an almost cinematic atmosphere, amplifying the sense of journey and uncertainty.
The presence of graffiti introduces the street's visual language into a more classical pictorial context, crossing two worlds: traditional painting and urban intervention. The layers of tags and marks function as a collective memory of those who passed by — anonymous artists, travelers or rebels who use the surface as a form of expression.
