Description from the seller
BLACK STILE N79 — OBSIDIAN THRESHOLD
English
Obsidian Threshold is a unique abstract artwork that explores the depth and intensity of glossy black. Its entire surface is painted in black, with a rich, textured finish and subtle white brushstrokes appearing exclusively in the central area, creating a delicate contrast within the composition.
The glossy black surface can appear lighter under direct illumination, revealing reflections that change according to the angle, intensity and direction of the light. These optical effects are particularly noticeable in the central area, where the subtle white brushstrokes emerge against the black. As daylight changes throughout the day, the artwork reveals different nuances, offering an evolving visual experience.
