Pagliaccetto, an oil painting on panel by Renato Natali (1883-1979) dating to 1960–1970, Italy, sold with its original frame.
Description from the seller
Exquisite oil on panel by the Livorno Master, a post-Macchiaiolo, Renato Natali.
A small, unique gem of its kind, exclusively belonging to seasoned collectors and enthusiasts. According to tradition, it was painted in a burst of inspiration by Natali during a dinner to be gifted to a child present at the banquet, son of a friend of the Great Artist.
Dimensions excluding the panel: about 18x12 cm — with the frame about 27x21 cm.
On the front and at the bottom, the signature "R NATALI" can be identified in italics, in block letters, and in red.
The signature of Natali is also present in italics and on the top of the back of the panel.
At the bottom and still on the back, of great importance is the authenticity opinion of the little work, none other than signed by the Master Giulio da Vicchio Rontini.
A work of historical interest for its uniqueness.
The frame, in solid wood of excellent quality, is included with the artwork: therefore complaints about it are not accepted, even in case of damage during shipping.
Fast, professional, insured, and trackable shipping.
IMPORTANT: In case of sale outside Italy, the buyer takes care of the full 360-degree handling of the export paperwork.
