My name is Kader Rawat; I am 77 years old; I am retired and I have been creating for many years in my studio located in Saint-Denis, La Réunion, an artistic universe that I am pleased to unveil to you gradually through my publications. For me, art is not a straight line, but a space of infinite exploration. This is why my gallery today brings together a multitude of works with very varied horizons, ranging from contemplative landscapes to abstract compositions. My work revolves around nature, vast panoramic spaces, and pure emotions. Whether it is a meticulous drawing, a landscape painting, or a vibrant abstract canvas, each work tells a story, a suspended moment.
As a painter and draftsman, I explore the boundary between the real and the imaginary. My artistic approach feeds on contrasts: on one side, the contemplation of wild nature and panoramic horizons; on the other, the total freedom of forms and colors through abstract art.
This collection of paintings is the fruit of several years of research, emotions, and creation. Each light wooden frame and plexiglass protects a piece of my history, shaped in painting or drawing.

On the banks, dark trees stand out as silhouettes, contrasting with the sky’s incandescent glow. In the distance, a modest Creole house, almost imperceptible, anchors the scene in tropical, intimate, suspended sweetness.
