Description from the seller

Description: a finely crafted box on four graceful legs, originating from Persia and manufactured during the Pahlavi period (c. 1960-1979).

The lid is richly openworked and decorated with a traditional Tree of Life, surrounded by birds and animals. The side panels feature finely chased and engraved animal figures in relief, executed in the characteristic Persian style.
