AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Juniper Bonsai with Dry Deadwood Descending (39 cm) – Glazed Pot Mame/Shohin
For sale an extraordinary artistic creation of Juniper, characterized by an elegant vertical thrust and a refined twisted dry wood section ( Jin / Tenjin effect) that rises above the canopy to embody the sense of age and natural strength.
The specimen is set in a small, contained pot, creating a powerful visual contrast: a robust 8 cm trunk/nebari base feeding a dense and compact canopy, topped by a dramatically sculptural twisted dead branch.
Measurements and Technical Details:
Total height (including extensions of the dead wood): 39 cm
Canopy width: 30 cm
Trunk/base width: 8 cm
Pot dimensions: 4 cm (height) x 12 cm x 12 cm (glazed ceramic hexagonal/octagonal pot with dark/gilded speckled finish)
Style: Shohin / Chuhin with vertical deadwood element (Jin)
Advantages:
1. Vertical Artistic Thrust: The overhanging dead branch elevates the composition to 39 cm in height, imparting a dramatic character typical of trees grown on mountain ledges.
2. Dense and Lush Canopy: Green-blue foliage extremely healthy, dense, and well-shaped on horizontal branches.
3. Premium Pot: Ceramic pot shaped with a dark glaze and bronze/golden reflections, complete with a soil finish and live moss.
