Here is an extraordinary and exact collectible-scale replica of Gilles Villeneuve’s GPA helmet, identical to the one used by the legendary Canadian Scuderia Ferrari driver during the famous San Marino Grand Prix at Imola in 1982 — the last historic race completed by the Aviator before the tragic Zolder weekend.

Based on an original vintage GPA helmet (characterized by the revolutionary patented closure and safety system with the inscription “GPA Breveté” and the lower device “Sécurité - Dévisser en cas de blocage”), the helmet features Villeneuve’s renowned orange and black livery. The graphics are faithfully completed with the sponsor logos of the era perfectly reproduced, including Ceramiche Piemme, Labatt and Smeg.

The item comes with the transparent visor with sunstrip, the race intercom interface/jack applied on the right side, and includes its characteristic rigid black plastic lower neck collar signed GPA.
