AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Two richly decorated Japanese vases in traditional Satsuma. The vases are characterized by their refined hand-painted depictions of historical and mythological figures, executed in vivid colors with abundant gold accents.
The elegant dragon handles on either side give the vases an imposing and decorative appearance. The detailed decoration showcases the craftsmanship for which Satsuma pottery is valued worldwide. The combination of gold, deep blue, red and green tones provides a particularly luxurious look.
These decorative vases form a beautiful focal point in both classic and eclectic interiors and are very suitable for collectors of Asian art and ceramics.
The vases show clear signs of age and use. The gilding has faded in several places, which is clearly visible in the photos. This, however, does little to detract from their decorative appearance and authentic character.
An attractive addition for enthusiasts of Japanese art, Eastern ceramics or decorative antique objects.
