THE BIRD AND THE LAKE presents a composition in which nature integrates into a space built from geometric shapes, color planes, and organic elements. A small bird perches on a stepped structure, becoming the protagonist of a scene that blends landscape references with an almost architectural organization. The yellow circle evokes the sun, while flowing shapes in deep blue, white, and pale yellow suggest the movement and stillness of the water. Elongated leaves, arches, and textured surfaces complete a balanced composition where terracotta, blue, green, and yellow tones dialogue to create depth and contrast.

The work invites contemplation of a moment of calm in which the bird and the lake seem suspended in an imagined landscape, midway between the natural and the domestic. The DOMESTIC SCENES series explores the intimacy of everyday spaces through compositions that combine recognizable household elements with geometric shapes, color planes, and different painting textures.

Domestic objects and corners appear simplified and rearranged within contemporary compositions, where tables, lamps, vases, furniture, and other everyday elements acquire a new visual dimension. The domestic scene ceases to be a literal representation to become a space built through color, form, and balance.

The series is particularly interested in those moments of pause that take place inside the home. Light, objects, and the various surfaces create silent atmospheres in which the everyday acquires an intimate and contemplative character.

Geometric language coexists with small organic gestures and figurative details, generating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Overlaid planes, curved shapes, and lines build spaces that feel recognizable yet partly imagined.
DOMESTIC SCENES offers a view of the home as a space of calm, memory, and contemplation, where everyday objects are transformed into compositional elements and daily life becomes pictorial matter.
