Unique handmade artifact - Boîte à stylos en Loupe de Thuya - Fountain pen

An exquisite handcrafted desk pen box and writing instrument case, fashioned from solid Moroccan Atlas Thuya burl (Tetraclinis articulata).
Hand Shaped with an ergonomic thumb-notch and stepped interior tray, this piece celebrates the raw visual splendor and famous natural fragrance of one of the world's most sought-after cabinet timbers.

The Timber, Ramage & Sensory Appeal:

Hypnotic "Ramage" Figure: The hinged lid and rounded exterior surfaces showcase an extraordinary landscape of dense eyelets ("bird's-eye" burl) and undulating, flame-like grain patterns (ramage).
Shifting between warm golden-honey and deep cognac tones, the chatoyant fibers glow under direct light.
Signature Natural Aroma: Revered by collectors for its long-lasting, enchanting scent; whenever the box is opened, it releases the soothing, warm cedar and balsamic essential perfume naturally stored within the root resin.

Functional Artisan Design: Designed to hold fine fountain pens, rollerballs, or desk treasures, the interior features stepped solid wood compartments keeping fine instruments organized and protected.

Silky Tactile Finish: Hand-buffed using traditional methods to preserve the authentic, organic feel of the burl without heavy artificial lacquers.

A Piece of History:
Carved by master marqueteurs in the coastal medina of Essaouira, this desk casket transforms a rare underground root into a timeless luxury desk accessory, recalling the distinguished atmosphere of private studies and antique writing rooms.
