Description from the seller

Viola Sanctuary

Self-portrait
In this self-portrait, Tatiana Cardellicchio explores the encounter between her body and nature, the central theme of her photographic research. The nude figure, gathered in an intimate gesture, confronts the imposing presence of a tree in intense violet and blue tones. The disproportion between the body and the vegetation makes tangible the strength of the encounter. The landscape envelops and overwhelms while the warmth of the skin emerges from the density of the crown. Through her physical presence, the artist questions the sense of belonging to the natural world and the vulnerability that surfaces when measuring herself against it.

The work is a fine art Giclée print realized on premium satin 270 g paper in a limited edition of 20 copies at this size, using Epson UltraChrome HD that ensures intense color rendering and exceptional longevity, representing the industry standard.
Image size: 30 × 40 cm

Edition limited: 20 copies, each signed and numbered on the back.
Authenticity: each copy is accompanied by a stamped and hand-signed certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing the provenance and uniqueness of the work. Inside the shipment is also included a page dedicated to the description of the shot and to the biography of the author.

Careful shipping: Delivered in a protective tube without a frame, for optimal protection during transport.

Tatiana Cardellicchio was born in Lecce, where the southern light becomes visual matter. She graduated in Photography at the Institute of Photography and has always moved between visual arts and identity research. In 2025 she receives an honorable mention at the Best Photography Award; in 2024 she receives the silver medal at the Prix de la Photographie (PX3), a recognition that rewards the silent strength of her gaze.
