• Uitgever: Uitgeverij Bosch & Keuning (1995).

Popigami: When Everyday Paper Pops! is a children's pop-up and origami book written by paper engineer James Diaz and illustrated by Francesca Diaz.
• Author: James Diaz
• Illustrator: Francesca Diaz
• Publication Date: January 31, 2008 (Dalmatian Press / Intervisual Books)
• Length: 14 pages (Hardcover)
Concept: It explores what would happen if everyday paper objects (like receipts, newspapers, passports, and gum wrappers) magically transformed into 3D pop-up origami creatures.
Examples: Rhyming text introduces scenes such as a passport folding into a boat, or newspaper headlines turning into origami birds flying off the page.

One Red Dot a pop up book for children of all ages
One Red Dot: A Pop-Up Book for Children of All Ages is a highly acclaimed, interactive masterpiece created by master paper engineer and author David A. Carter. Originally published in 2004/2005 by Little Simon, the book transforms traditional reading into a striking gallery of portable contemporary art.
We are going to explore ten dynamic and vivid pop-up art sculptures. On each one there is a red dot hidden somewhere. Sometimes the dot is easy to see and sometimes it is hidden in a very clever way indeed. Among other things there is a “puzzle box,” two “twisting twirly gigs,” and five “wiggle-wobble widgets.”
This is a both a pop-up and a counting book, and it is an extraordinary example of what a paper artist can do when he or she has a lot of imagination and a unique sense of style. Small children will wonder at the dynamic elements of the pop-ups and at the wonderful, often funny, names that the author has given his creations.
