Description from the seller
Château Haut Nouchet - L'orangerie – AOP PESSAC LEOGNAN 2022 – 6 x 75 cl
Delivered in its original box
The vineyard covers 15 hectares. The vines occupy a terroir made up of gravel, clay and chalk.
The blend is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50%, 40% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot, 7% and 3% Cabernet Franc
The harvests are carried out manually. A triple sorting is performed: at the vineyard, then before and after destemming. This selection aims to vinify only healthy, perfectly ripe fruit.
Vinification is led under the guidance of Stéphane Derenoncourt. It begins in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels. The barrels are renewed to one third each year.
The wine presents an expression marked by red fruits, with a tannic structure and a certain suppleness on the palate.
Its aging potential is 12 to 15 years.
No shipments to Ireland or Norway and outside Europe, as packages are systematically blocked by customs.
