Description from the seller
Selling a beautiful Colette book with a signed autograph and published on February 19, 1934, accompanied by an advertisement (26cm by 35cm) that presents the work. Many texts on nature and a text on her sapphic loves with her companion:
« There is in our house only one bed, too wide for you, a little narrow for the two of us. Those who come to see us look at it calmly and do not avert their eyes with a conspiratorial air, for it is marked, in the middle, by a single valley. They do not know, those who enter here, that every night, the weight of our two joined bodies digs a little deeper, under its voluptuous shroud, this valley. O, our naked bed! ... Receive us, this evening, oh our bed, and may this fresh valley dig itself a little more under the feverish torpor with which a spring day will intoxicate us. I lie motionless, my head on your sweet shoulder… How my heart beats! I hear yours too… Turn toward me. I cannot sleep. Your arm tightens around me… I could take refuge in you with confused laments, exasperated sighs. You will tighten your embrace and your kiss will become more insistent, your loving hands will grant me voluptuousness as a relief that chases from me the demons of fever. You will give me voluptuousness, leaning over me… » 248 pages plus tables
