Two beautiful calligraphies made on Yemeni agate and on green jade, dating probably from the 19th century, from the Ottoman or Qajar era.

The calligraphy on Yemeni agate could be from the Safavid period, pending confirmation.

The lot also includes a very beautiful handwritten Qur'anic calligraphy, bearing witness to the refinement of ancient Islamic art.
