Fascinating poster by the famous French illustrator Paul Colin, created for Le Train Fantôme, an iconic theatrical work with strong visual and atmospheric impact.
Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s.
The work represents one of the most evocative subjects in Colin's graphic repertoire, with a dynamic and almost cinematic composition: the locomotive emerges from the fog in a scene charged with tension, while the stylized figure in the foreground contributes to a sense of mystery and modernity typical of French Art Deco.
