AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Mobile in Italian Bauhaus style – Early 20th century
A small piece with a bold character, where the warm tone of the wood meets the rigor of geometric forms. Of Italian origin and dating from the early 20th century, it expresses a taste linked to the Bauhaus style, with essential lines, compact volumes, and a functional stance.
The structure is characterized by rounded corners and a pleasant contrast between the honey-colored wooden body and the black plinth, which gives the composition a solid visual presence. The front features a framed door bordered by a slim molding, with a circular wooden knob, adjacent to an open vertical compartment.
This asymmetric arrangement enhances the design and offers a practical solution for organizing magazines, sheet music, or records compatible with the internal dimensions. The upper surface is suitable for a small lamp or a decorative object.
The surfaces show patina, variation in tone, and signs of use visible, contributing to the lived-in charm of the piece. Please study the photographs carefully to assess the details and the condition.
