Enicar Ocean Pearl Day-Date, a vintage 1970s automatic men’s watch with a 35 mm stainless steel case, orange dial, fabric band, long over-200 mm length, powered by the in-house Cal. AR 167 movement, in very good condition with minor wear, shipped insured, no box, papers or warranty.
Description from the seller
Splendid men's vintage watch Enicar Ocean Pearl, an authentic icon of Swiss sport watchmaking from the early 1970s.
The real highlight is the rare and vibrant bright orange dial ("Racing Orange"), characterized by a finely textured finish and imposing three-dimensional applied block indices.
At 3 o'clock is positioned the very peculiar vertical Day-Date window with a bilingual disc (day and date), an unusual and highly sought-after configuration among collectors that gives the dial perfect visual symmetry.
Unlike many watches of the era, this model houses a prestigious in-house movement: the Enicar AR 167 (Star Jewels) automatic-winding, beautifully finished and equipped with the characteristic rotor bearing the Saturn planet.
On the screw-down stainless steel case back stands the famous relief medallion with the dolphin and Saturn, historic symbol of the Ocean Pearl waterproof series, perfectly intact and well preserved.
