AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This work comes from the Tropiques 93 series.
This bridge is a link between urban constructions and nature, but also, symbolically, a link between two worlds: the tranquility of a suburban area and the noise and speed of a road and commercial zone.

Born in 1979, she lives and works at the edge of the world facing a beach – Plougonvelin, Finistère North.
Having earned a baccalaureate in Applied Arts in 1997, she did not pursue further artistic studies and moved toward social professions. But drawing and painting practice caught up with her, and in 2019 she decided to devote most of her time to her artistic practice. Always drawn to what one does not want to see—in urban landscapes, industrial wastelands—she begins by painting series of works mainly in acrylic. Colorful urban landscapes where nature interweaves. Recently, her artistic practice has diversified into modeling and other 3D objects, as well as photography and sound recording.

My artistic work delves into the heart of landscapes, whether shaped by human hands or left to the evolution of nature.
The conclusion I reach after various research and in-situ landscape encounters: the landscape is always shaped by human hands, but it is also a construction in its representation in art: the invention of perspective shapes our gaze toward the landscape.
My artistic approach questions the relationship between humans and their environment. How do human technical capabilities transform a natural landscape? How does nature develop without intervention? What is our physical, intimate connection to these places? How does our gaze apprehend these spaces?
My work is built in series, around geographical points identified by their GPS coordinates. Each work is a sensory reconstruction of the place, where I gather clues – colors, shapes, geometries, natural elements, ambient sounds – to convey a global vision of these landscapes and the atmosphere felt on-site. I use various techniques, materials, and methods for this: paintings, drawings, modeling, photography, serigraphies, watercolors.

"The situational visuals are AI visualizations based on photographs of the real object. The photographs of the real object are the authoritative record."

Canvas sent rolled in a tube without a frame.
