AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Special cabinet - a housekeeper's cabinet - this piece of furniture was used to store clothing. Circa 1720-1750 with later alterations. Underneath is a chest that is only accessible from the inside. You must first open the doors to lift the lid. It is a loose lid without hinges with a heart-shaped notch for putting your finger in. - see detail photos.

Above are two doors with a lock. The key works. Useful for storing a summer or winter wardrobe. The panels are quarter-sawn oak. The cabinet has a beautiful and typically English patina. Early wrought-iron hinges.

Restoration:
The legs were worn and all four have been raised by about 10 cm.

Bids below the limit will not be entertained.
Prices are very reasonable, therefore I am happy to sell to people who appreciate it.
