Description from the seller
Blue-gray cultured pearl necklace with a variable floral clasp in 14K white gold – 47 cm
Expressive cultured pearl necklace with a special play of color between pale blue, silvery gray and delicate blue-lilac. A meticulously designed floral clasp in 14K white gold forms the decorative focal point. Two freely hanging chain ends, finished with light-colored pearls, give the piece an elegant, movable silhouette.
Pearls and color play
The roundish to slightly irregular cultured pearls of the strand have a diameter of about 6 mm. They exhibit a shimmering luster and finely graduated color nuances. Depending on the incidence of light, they appear pale blue to gray-blue, with silver-gray, lilac, and occasional rosy or greenish reflections.
The pearls are individually knotted on a light-colored thread. Small variations in shape and surface texture define the appearance of the pearl strand.
Floral clasp in white gold
The prominently worn clasp is crafted as a three-dimensional floral and leaf motif. A blue-gray central pearl of about 6 mm diameter is surrounded by smaller, lighter pearls of about 4 mm diameter. Between them and arranged to the sides are pointed white gold leaves that complete the composition.
The leaf surfaces are partly finely brushed and partly smoothly polished. The contrast between textured and glossy areas emphasizes the individual leaves and gives the clasp a spatial effect.
On the rear closure arch is the clearly visible fineness mark “585,” corresponding to 14-karat gold.
Variable wearing styles
The floral clasp can be opened, completely removed, and reinserted at different positions along the pearl strand. This allows varying the wearable neck size, the position of the jewelry element, and the length of the hanging ends.
Below the clasp, the two chain ends run freely. They can be worn offset and each finishes with a light, slightly oval to drop-shaped pearl of about 6 mm in diameter. These end pearls sit beneath decorative, silvery caps with elongated elements and small spherical details.
