Particularly notable are the schizocroal compound eyes, formed by hundreds of individual lenses that are perfectly visible, and the pronounced genal spines typical of the genus. The thorax clearly shows the 10 segments characteristic of this genus—a rarity among acastid trilobites—and it gracefully tapers toward the pygidium.
