AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
To chiparus - Exclusive bronze statue – Medieval knight with “CREDO”
An impressive and characterful bronze statue of a medieval knight, executed with great attention to detail. The knight stands upright and arms outstretched, wearing a wide belt with the clearly visible inscription “CREDO.”
The combination of the detailed mail armor, helmet, clothing, sword and shield gives the statue a powerful medieval appearance. The whole thing rests on a beautiful, heavy black marble base, which not only makes the statue sturdy, but also provides a stylish and luxurious presentation.
The meaning of “CREDO”
The Latin word CREDO literally means “I believe.” In a broader symbolic sense it stands for:
belief and conviction
loyalty to one’s own values and principles
determination and inner strength
courage to stand for something
honor, loyalty and protection
The knight reinforces this symbolism.
In medieval iconography, a knight often represents courage, loyalty, honor, and steadfastness. The outstretched arms can be seen as a symbolic gesture of openness, protection, or spreading a belief.
The statue is therefore more than just a decorative object: it tells a story of strength, faith, and fidelity to what one believes in.
