Gerolamo Novaro (father): present in the technical casts as chief machinist in numerous operas (La Vestale, Gli Esiliati in Siberia, Fausta, La Solitaria delle Asturie, La Donna Capricciosa).
Michele Canzio (maternal uncle): famous stage designer and Director of Ornaments at the Academy, cited as author of scenes in almost all Genoese librettos.
