VALANDRE - Striped Sleeves and a Blue Coat - Mixed media on canvas

Léon. A man in a midnight-blue coat and round glasses stands in profile, slightly back. In front of him, a young woman in a black bob, blue earrings and a striped Breton top, holds an object in her hand. Around them, a room with warm-colored walls, objects placed on shelves, a shadowy silhouette in the background.
The scene does not say what will happen. The young woman’s gaze is turned toward something off-camera, and the man already seems to have decided something. The contrast between the deep blue of the coat and the pink stripes makes their proximity almost tense.
Mixed media: acrylic paint on pigment ink print, matte varnish.
Varnish applied by hand, for color depth and lasting protection of the work.

VALANDRE is one of the creations bringing together artists Le Yack, Neo Pablo and Popsan within Atelier Joconde, a family studio where three sensibilities coexist: neo-realism, pop, and free figuration.
Under this name, the studio celebrates sunny avenues, aligned palm trees and vintage cars parked along the sidewalk, with silhouettes leaning on them for a momentary pause. Blue shadows and bold colors lend the scene a light joy, in the spirit of a reimagined America.

Galerie Joconde est un atelier familial et un laboratoire de création contemporaine, où trois artistes : Le Yack, Popsan et Neo Pablo, croisent leurs univers pour produire des collections originales. Loin d'une simple galerie de vente, c'est un véritable lieu de production où les styles se lient, se confrontent et donnent naissance à de nouveaux mouvements. L'atelier travaille aussi bien en création collective qu'en démarches individuelles : chaque œuvre proposée peut être le fruit du travail d'un, de deux, ou des trois artistes réunis.
Toutes les œuvres proviennent directement de l'atelier des artistes, sans intermédiaire. Les originaux sont des pièces uniques. Chaque œuvre est signée et accompagnée d'un certificat d'authenticité, et expédiée avec un emballage professionnel adapté au transport international.
