AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Interesting and functional vintage floor-standing umbrella / cane rack, dating to the mid-20th century (1950s-1960s).
The object features a minimalist tubular metal structure with curves/bend cold-work typical of Bauhaus / Mid-Century Industrial style. The top part presents a double ring/rectangular support ring to hold umbrellas and walking canes. At the base there is a practical removable rectangular drip tray in aluminum/metal, essential for cleaning and maintenance.
A piece with strong vintage character and industrial style, perfect to complete the decor of an entrance, a study, or a loft/retro-style commercial space.
Type: Floor-standing umbrella / cane rack
Era: 1950s / 1960s (Mid-Century Modern / Industrial Style)
Material: Chrome/nickel-plated iron/metal tubular frame with removable aluminum tray
Construction: Self-supporting frame with drop/spherical feet and removable tray
Condition
Original era condition (aged / patinated).
The structure is solid and stable. It shows a pronounced and widespread rusting and oxidation of the surface metal finish, which underscores its history and epoch authenticity (excellent base for a conservative restoration or for those who appreciate the original industrial patina). Prospective buyers are invited to carefully view the attached extensive photo gallery.
dimensions 24x47 cm. - height 58 cm. - drip tray 46x21 cm. Approximately
