Ferran Soriano (1944) - Prenomición espacial

Ferran Soriano (born 1944) – “Spatial Premonition” – Unique Sculpture
Description:
On offer is a fascinating, organically styled metal sculpture by the renowned Catalan artist Ferran Soriano. The work is titled “Premonición espacial” (Spatial Premonition).
Soriano is famous for his ability to give hard metals like stainless steel a dynamic, almost floating lightness. The sculpture impresses with the exciting interplay of curved voids and the graceful, vertical lines that culminate in a wooden- or amber-colored sphere. A fine engraving of the artist (“F. Soriano”) is permanently etched directly onto the metal body.
A particular hallmark of quality and typical of Soriano: the artist makes all of his pieces by hand. Every bend, every weld, and every surface treatment was executed by the master himself with artisanal perfection, making this object a true, distinctive one-of-a-kind piece.
