CARLO MONTE (1961) - White Magnolias and the Orange Sun - Mixed media on canvas

White magnolias bloom on a dark stem, surrounded by pink buds still closed. The petals cut into clean planes, as if the flower were built. Behind it, a half-orange circle rises, and pink and gray bands structure the background.
The painting brings naturalness and geometry together. Each petal seems to pose for a portrait, and the orange moon reminds us that spring is a matter of light as much as of flowers.
An elegant and soothing composition, for a living room that loves flowers without the clutter.

CARLO MONTE is one of the creations bringing together the artists Le Yack, Neo Pablo and Popsan within Atelier Joconde, a family studio where three sensibilities coexist: neo-realism, pop and free figuration. Under the name CARLO MONTE, the Studio revives the golden age of Art Deco and the glamour of the 1930s: geometric figuration, crystalline facets, sculptural modeling and mechanical elegance, in the lineage of the great cubist muses of the interwar period.
CARLO MONTE gathers figures captured in the glare of the Roaring Twenties, modern women, gleaming machines, faceted settings, where pure line and cool color celebrate speed and emancipation. The guiding thread: a dialogue between Art Deco heritage and a contemporary gaze, where the pictorial matter enhances and transfigures the printed image.

Galerie Joconde est un atelier familial et un laboratoire de création contemporaine, où trois artistes : Le Yack, Popsan et Neo Pablo, croisent leurs univers pour produire des collections originales. Loin d'une simple galerie de vente, c'est un véritable lieu de production où les styles se lient, se confrontent et donnent naissance à de nouveaux mouvements. L'atelier travaille aussi bien en création collective qu'en démarches individuelles : chaque œuvre proposée peut être le fruit du travail d'un, de deux, ou des trois artistes réunis.
Toutes les œuvres proviennent directement de l'atelier des artistes, sans intermédiaire. Les originaux sont des pièces uniques. Chaque œuvre est signée et accompagnée d'un certificat d'authenticité, et expédiée avec un emballage professionnel adapté au transport international.
