Description
“Lucidity” from the Ethereal Blossoms series is a poetic interpretation of clarity, lightness and inner balance.
Delicate blossoms unfold along gracefully curved branches and merge at times with the multilayered, textured background. The restrained color palette of soft gray, beige, white and zinc tones gives the composition a timeless, almost meditative radiance.
A special role is played by light: pearl-white and metallic-sheening pigments make the surface appear differently depending on the viewing angle. Sometimes the blossoms stand out clearly, other times they seem to gently dissolve into the background. Thus, a fascinating interplay between visibility and restraint, light and structure, arises.
The title “Lucidity” stands for a moment of clarity – a state in which thoughts settle and perception opens.
With its elegant, reduced color scheme and its adaptable surface, the work harmoniously fits modern, minimalist and sophisticated living spaces.
About the artist
Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has been devoted to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-scale works that balance between calm and movement, structure and lightness.
Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels and metal foils – combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients and light reflections, her paintings do not dominate the room but fill it with quiet presence.
Her works have been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg, including Hamburg zeigt Kunst, Galerie Jupiter and in HASPA branches. Works by Alla Faber are now in private collections in Europe, the USA and the United Arab Emirates.
