Description from the seller

Rare ceramic wall piece with a portrait of a famous personality, made with the rare raku technique. It is probably Jeanne Hébuterne, wife of the prominent Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, active at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. At the bottom right there is the signature "IANA". The entire surface emits an iridescent glow under sunlight, making it a collection masterpiece of great value. On the back, in the upper left corner, there are visible residual cracks from the firing, which however do not in any way compromise the quality of the painting on the front; please observe the images carefully.
