Description from the seller

Chevalière – Order of the Builders — The Great Architect – Letter G – Order & Measure.

Maçon-inspired signet ring with a substantial, richly worked body, featuring on its face the iconic Square and Compasses, enhanced at their center by the letter G.

The central motif, rendered in relief and outlined with black details, stands out on a polished golden surface. The rim of the face is adorned with faceted transparent stones of zircon type, arranged in regular lines, adding contrast and brilliance to the whole.

The sides, richly textured, are decorated with stylized mason geometric motifs in relief, extending the symbolic aesthetic of the signet ring. The alternation of polished surfaces, granular decorations and glittering elements gives it a particularly assertive presence.

The Square and the Compasses are among the most recognizable emblems of Freemasonry.

The Square, an instrument used to draw and verify a right angle, is traditionally associated with uprightness, moral integrity, justice, and fairness.
The Compasses, which enable drawing a circle and defining its limits, evoke measure, self-control, moderation, and the pursuit of balance.

Together, the Square and the Compasses symbolically express the work that a human being undertakes on himself: to build, measure, order, and seek balance between the material world and the elevation of the spirit.

The G letter, placed at the heart of the Square and the Compasses, belongs particularly to the Anglo-Saxon Masonic tradition. Its interpretation can vary according to traditions and rites.
It is notably associated with Geometry – the science fundamental to the craft of the builder – and can also refer to God or the Grand Architect of the Universe, depending on the considered Masonic interpretation.
Thus it symbolically occupies the center of the composition, between construction, knowledge, and the creative principle.

A signet ring with a strong character, combining Masonic symbolism, uprightness, knowledge and the quest for balance between matter and spirit.
