Technique: Acrylic and mixed media on canvas
Dimensions: 90 × 140 cm once mounted on stretcher
Series: Suspended Horizons – Presences

Description

"Inside a Cloud" is a large canvas (90x140 cm) belonging to the cycle "Presences", within the research of the series "Suspended Horizons".

The work is born from research into interior and ethereal landscapes, in which the boundaries between sky and water soften through color and transparency. The composition is built on a palette of turquoises, cyan blues, and cobalt shades, crossed at the center by a discreet horizon line enriched with light golden touches and glazes.

Small runs and graphic strokes on the left accompany the gaze, suggesting a sense of suspension and lightness. It is a wide canvas that aims to bring a calming, harmonious, and measured presence into spaces.

Original work, signed on the front and back.
Shipped with certificate of authenticity.

To guarantee maximum safety during transport, the work will be shipped rolled in a professional rigid tube.
Once received, it is advisable to have it mounted on a stretcher by a trusted framer (thickness about 2 cm / 1.8 cm).

Careful and protected shipping.
Colors may vary slightly depending on the monitor.

Project Statement
Concept Series – Suspended Horizons

This work belongs to my artistic journey dedicated to the Suspended Horizons, a research born from the meeting of water and intuition. In these canvases, the fluid matter gives shape to interior landscapes: imagined visions that do not represent real places, but states of mind, perceptual thresholds, and fragments of ephemeral beauty.

The surface develops through light stratifications, transparencies, and sparse patches, evoking silence, waiting, and the breath of a time suspended. In some works, essential signs emerge — stylized blossoms, floating petals, reflected trees — symbolic presences that amplify the meditative and dreamlike dimension without imposing a defined narrative.

The series is configured as a process in becoming, open to gestural and formal variations, faithful to a poetics of the unspoken and the threshold. Within this research three expressive modes take shape, which do not constitute closed categories but movements of the same inquiry.

- Evanescences -

In the "Evanescences" the matter dissolves and retreats. The image appears as a distant memory, a barely grasped vision, in which the landscape becomes rarefied, unstable, suspended between presence and disappearance.

- Presences -

In "Presences" the painting densifies and takes shape. The matter emerges with greater intensity, while maintaining a dreamlike quality, like a form that reveals itself without ever fully defining itself.

- Apparitions -

In the "Apparitions" light emerges from dark depths. Space becomes more gathered, and the horizon becomes a distant threshold, a direction toward which the gaze tends, guided by a luminous presence that manifests and withdraws at the same time.

Artist Statement

My work explores the fluid nature of water and its ability to generate forms, movement, and light.

Through the use of watercolors, acrylics, inks, and glazes, I translate this energy into abstract visions that bring silence, mystery, and introspection.

I paint interior landscapes: suspended horizons, reflections, blossoms. Images that do not represent real places, but perceptual states hovering between appearance and dissolution.

I let the water guide the process, welcoming imperfections and fleeting traces as an essential part of the work.

My research moves between lightness and matter, keeping an open space for interpretation.

Each work is an invitation to slow down and breathe with the eyes.
