This work, an oil on canvas in a horizontal format and framed in gold, captures an intimate moment of female repose with elegant and natural sensuality. A nude woman lies face down on a bed of white and voluminous sheets, her back to the viewer, while her dark hair falls gathered to one side. Lighting is key in the composition: a warm morning light comes from the left, bathing the scene and casting subtle shadows that highlight the anatomical forms with a soft chiaroscuro. The color palette is earthy and warm, with golden, ochre and sienna tones that perfectly complement the Mediterranean surroundings of the space. The impressionist technique of visible brushstrokes gives it texture and a palpable sense of movement to the sheets and the skin, creating a serene and introspective atmosphere.
