History:
The meteorite was found during a search in the dense Bechar collection area and was subsequently purchased by the owner of the main mass from a dealer in Algeria.
Petrography: Polymict fused-breccia composed of black fusion clasts up to 0.5 mm in size plus mineral grains up to 1.6 mm embedded in a finely recrystallized shock-fusion matrix. The main minerals are enstatite-poikilitic, zoned pyroxene, olivine and calcic plagioclase. Mineral grains dragged into the fusion matrix often show resorption textures.
Minor phases include silica, chromite, ilmenite, FeS and baddeleyite. No metallic iron detected.
