Porcelain vase with a bronze mount, 19th century

Elegant porcelain vase with a blue ground and a hand-painted reserve depicting a rich bouquet of flowers (roses, peonies and wildflowers), outlined in gold. The mount is gilded bronze, chased in Rococo taste, with large foliate-scroll handles, a neck decorated with grapevines and clusters, and a pierced base with vegetal motifs. Small gilded porcelain handles on the sides.

Probably French manufacture, Sevres-style, early to mid-19th century. Signs of age consistent with the period (slight gilding wear, bronze patina).

Vaso in porcellana con montatura in bronzo, XIX secolo

Elegante vaso in porcellana a fondo blu con riserva dipinta a mano raffigurante un ricco bouquet di fiori (rose, peonie e fiori di campo), profilato in oro. Montatura in bronzo dorato cesellato in gusto rococò, con grandi anse a volute fogliacee, collo decorato a tralci di vite e grappoli e base traforata a motivi vegetali. Piccole anse dorate in porcellana ai lati.

Probabile manifattura francese, gusto “alla Sèvres”, prima metà dell’Ottocento. Segni del tempo coerenti con l’età (lievi usure della doratura, patina del bronzo).
