Manufacturing features and details:
• Materials: The subject is cast in solid bronze with very nice density (weight around 3.5 kg), resting on a rectangular base in white marble (Carrara marble type).
• Original accessories: The shield (adorned with a relief depicting a Gorgon mask or a lion surrounded by pearls) and the javelin are removable, which attests to the care taken in the making of this collectible piece.
• Fixing: The bronze is anchored to the marble by its original iron threaded rods visible under the base.
