Original edition of the artist Takis's text (1925-2019), in which he refers to the Pharaoh-era of Egypt, to the egg theory and to the energy theory. Takis (born 1925 in Athens, died 2019) chose to explore in his work the energy of magnetic fields. In the proximity of his New Realism contemporaries, he integrates movement, light, and music into his sculptural approach, combined with the use of magnets. A tireless experimenter, a "savvy intuitive" scientist, Takis has continually sought to capture cosmic energy by marrying art and science. A contemporary avant-garde visual artist, his work is rooted in a sculptural tradition, ranging from archaic Greek sculpture and Giacometti to the discarded objects of technology. Fascinated by "scientific magic", the origin of inventions (he even filed industrial patents), Takis is also a philosopher of science regularly steeped in the great ancestors of presocratic philosophy, from Hippocrates's medicine to ancient Egypt.
