AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Happy Mckey XL by Brother X
12 / 15
An impression of Mickey Mouse sprinkled with more than 40 different color tones in a cheerful pose with hands and arms raised.
The Mickey series based on Louis Vuitton has meanwhile become a coveted and globally sold line that is always produced in limited quantities to keep the series exclusive.
In galleries, Brother X's Mickeys are also sold only without the Louis Vuitton base. Because of the bright, lively color mix, the Mickeys are highly sought-after items and also because many buyers do not want a Louis Vuitton base.
The works are quickly sold in galleries at around €1500.
A very catchy and striking piece finished with epoxy and several layers of HQ varnish.
Each work is unique due to the color mixes, splashes, and splatters and may differ slightly from the photo.
Material: PLA.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Artist bio:
Brother X's work has evolved over time from pop art and contemporary to Brand Art, still combined with pop art and contemporary influences.
Most of his works are fashion brands such as LV and Hermès, which leads the artist to a blend of advertising and underlying messages, always with a light playful effect.
In recent months the works have come into the spotlights several times, with sales to more than 22 countries and mentions abroad, presence in galleries in Belgium, France, and Italy, and reviews in art magazines and appearances on Belgian national TV.
Awards & Nominations:
- Nominated for World Art Awards 2024
- Best 3D artist in the Mixed Materials category. (Belgium 2020)
- Nominated for Worldwide Artist Award FIABCN 2022 (Barcelona 2022)
- Nominated for the Art for Peace award 2022 (Barcelona 2022)
