Pink Morro, Big Bang Rock XXL, original 2026 abstract expressionist mixed media on canvas (aerosol, acrylic, charcoal and wax), 96 × 70 cm, hand-signed, from Spain, sold directly by the artist, with COA, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
BING BANG ROCK is a large-format vertical painting about the explosion of color. A sky blue, intense, flat background supports a central form in peach, cream, yellow and mint green. Around it, a pink spray scribble on the left, a red and magenta mass on the lower part, and broad strokes of opaque white crossing the canvas diagonally, as if the scene had just exploded.
The title mixes two ideas. “Bang” is the impact, the detonation, and it is read in the white strokes shooting upwards and to the right. “Rock” is the rhythm and attitude: fast, direct painting with no retouching, with black, almost calligraphic gestures in the lower area that function as dry chords.
The work combines acrylic, spray, graphite and wax crayons. The spray provides transparencies and gradients, the white adds relief and volume, and the fine white and dark lines trace arcs and drips over the blue. The colors are laid in overlapping layers with a constant pulse, and the eye moves up and down the canvas without settling on a single point.
