In this work I explore closeness and balance between two figures sharing the same space. Their bodies intertwine through broad curves, while the nearness of their faces creates a serene meeting point within the movement of the composition.

I work with a palette of deep blues, lavender, turquoise and petrol green over a cream background. The shapes in soft pink traverse the painting like ribbons that wrap and connect the figures. The fine color outlines delineate each silhouette and allow following the rhythm of the arms, the hands and the legs.

The painting belongs to my series Human Modules, in which I simplify the body to investigate its expressive possibilities. In this piece I seek to convey complicity and harmony: each figure maintains its presence, while their gestures form part of a shared movement.

The work is shipped unframed, rolled and protected in a rigid tube. The frames and display contexts of the visualizations are presentation examples.
